Pocket MMA was designed and created a mixed martial arts fan and a Christian by Faith. The game was intended to bring Glory to God (the God of the Bible) through its success and to help support Ministry. Pocket MMA is intended to be a tool to help simulate the sport of mixed martial arts through cards and it’s realistic functions. The design of it started back started back in May of 2009 and continued for about a year and a some months until it’s first release of the Debut expansion in December of 2010.

The reviewer is correct about the deck size. You are better off buying two faction packs and the terrain pack to get the right feel of the game. I talked to the designer and the publisher and they are considering going to a larger box and adding a few more cards to each deck to give the true feel of the game to people buying the starter set. Of course, because it is print on demand this can be done!
