The 2nd battle of El Alamein is a simplified simulation of the mid 1942 battle in the desert of Egypt that marks the start of the counterattack that would see the Afrika Korps destroyed in a few short months. 
 
It would also turn General Mongomery into a household name to rival his enemy Rommel.
 
 Advanced and optional rules based on historical events are included for more experienced players looking for a deeper and more complicated game.
